MISSHA M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX
SPF42 PA+++
16-10-2021
Hi Cherries and welcome to my review of the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX with SPF42 PA+++ !
Just a small update in my BB cream reviews from now on, before we continue... My BB cream reviews will be different compared to previous BB cream reviews, because I will not update this one. Previously, you all were used of me that I did a first impression of a BB cream and then came back to it later. To tell whether the product fulfills the other promises (such as anti-wrinkle effects, etc.). I will no longer do this from now on, because I notice that I sometimes forget to do it. So I'd rather take longer for a review, but that I can also tell you everything than that I do it "half/half".
In this review, all the photos were taken at the time of unboxing and using this product for the first time, but I've been using the product for over 2 months now and I've basically seen everything this product can do. So I'm going to tell you the whole story about this product (^_^)
The Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX with SPF42 PA+++ is available in the Netherlands in various stores with international makeup, but can also be bought online. I don't know about other countries, though! But I believe there are a lot of webstores who sell this product.
This product normally costs around €24 (the Netherlands), but I bought this product at sale for €12.99.
This product comes in 7 different colors:
- No. 17 (lightest color)
- No. 21 (my choice and what I usually always have in Korean BB creams)
- No. 22
- No. 23
- No. 25
- No. 27
- No. 31 (darkest color)
If you have a nice tint of yourself, I recommend to watch from no. 23. Below no. 23 is mainly for the light skin types in terms of colors.
Casing, texture and fragrance
The BB cream comes in a completely dark red casing. It is quite a large and sturdy tube with a volume of 50ml. So you can really use it for a long time! The quality of the tube is very good and will not break easily. Also feels good in the hand. Furthermore, the tube is equipped with a pump which you can use for bringing out the product. This way you can determine how much product you need for the entire face! You can also determine when this product runs out, because the casing ensures that you can see when the tube is getting empty. Very handy! (^.^)
I find the texture of this BB cream on the thick side, but you can eventually blend it well. It quickly changes to a matte result. The smell is similar to sunscreen. Which I don't think is strange, because it contains SPF42 and Asian BB creams generally contain a higher amount of sunscreen compared to European, English or American BB creams. So if you are new to Asian BB creams or foundations, this is actually quite normal. So nothing to be afraid of!

First 2 photos are without BB cream.
Middle 2 photos with BB cream and only eye makeup / eyebrow makeup / contour cheeks.
Last 2 photos is the result after 11 hours on my face.
Promises / Description / ingredients
Missha says about this product: "A full coverage BB cream infused with powerful skin conditioning ingredients for a brighter and firmer looking complexion. A full coverage BB cream with specially coated powder gives a smoother, brighter complexion. BB cream colors in a beige undertone instead of a typical grayish undertone for a flawlessly blending natural makeup look. Infused with hyaluronic acid, peptide, collagen and ceramide to provide hydration and radiance for a healthier and firmer-looking complexion. Long-lasting coverage up to 30 hours. Dermatologically tested".
My opinion on the promises
Missha's promises largely correspond to the result, but what's especially not fulfilled is full coverage. The coverage of this product is medium. It will not cover redness and dark circles under the eyes. What you can do to improve the result is to build it up with a small layer, but that's it. Unfortunately, it doesn't come close to full coverage. After a duration of 11 hours, the BB cream is mainly gone on and around the nose. I notice that it mainly disappears there first, but can remain on the other parts of the face for a long time. Despite the nose, the result still looks like it did in the beginning.
Furthermore, the promise of hydration is not fulfilled. This BB cream adheres to dry spots on the face and provides a matte finish. I would rather recommend this BB cream for combination to oily or oily skin.
For the rest, I do agree with Missha's promises. The product really gives a smooth and clear complexion. Fades fine lines. It refreshes your face and gives a particularly natural result. I think it's a really nice result for an everyday makeup look!
Personal opinion and score
I recommend the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX with SPF42 PA+++ again for combination to oily or oily skin. It will definitely not work well on normal or dry skin. Not even with an extra cream underneath. It's an ideal product for someone who likes a natural result in makeup and doesn't want to "overdo it". Someone who really likes a natural everyday look or has few skin problems and just wants to refresh it (^.^)
In my own opinion, this product is a very normal BB cream. I don't think it's exactly high end compared to the BB creams from South Korea that I've tried before. Don't get me wrong, because the product is nice to use. It is a very popular BB cream from South Korea, but I think people overestimate it. I personally think it's because this product (now in this new case) is one of the very first BB creams from South Korea. So a very long time on the market! I don't find it special myself, but for an everyday look and at work / office this is ok. I give this product an 8/10 based on the promises compared to the result (^.^) !
