Casing and texture
The "Born To Glow" foundation comes in a compact squeeze tube that fits easily in your hand. It is easy to grip and its compactness allows the foundation to be taken anywhere. Very handy! The casing of this product comes with the features of NYX Professional Makeup, making it easy to stand out in your (makeup) bag. The texture of this foundation is in my opinion a combination between liquid and gel, which makes it easy to spread the foundation over the face. The texture also makes blending out for this foundation easier. Just make sure you don't squeeze too much out of the tube, otherwise you may end up taking just a little too much on your hands (like I had it here with my little test >.<)

The conclusion is that two promises are made. A radiant / shiny skin with medium coverage.
Let's see if this is true!

In the first set of photos I don't wear any kind of makeup. Only a base of cream and primer, so that this foundation doesn't settle very much in the pores. In the second set of photos you only see me with the foundation on the face and in the third set of photos I have all my makeup done. I will also show my complete routine.

PS Sorry for the light difference in the pictures below compared to the pictures above. The weather outside made it too dark in my room, so I had to turn on a light. This is not a filter (I never use it on my blog anyway)!!!!

PS Normally I always recommend applying a transparent or at least your favorite powder over the foundation to make it all neat including setting spray, but I didn't do it for a first impression as I always want to see first how good the product is without these helping tools.

My first impression after application was positive. It starts with a low to medium coverage that you can indeed easily build up to a medium coverage. Higher than this is unfortunately not possible with this foundation. It instantly gives the skin a radiant glow, making it look fresh. In addition, the face looks natural. Looks like you've had some sort of fresh up!

*10 HOURS LATER*

In total, for the first impression, I left the product on my face for 10 hours, without touching up. The difference between immediately after application and after 10 hours is clearly visible. The foundation has oxidized more, but the shine has remained all over the face. It did wear off a bit, showing my natural redness a bit, but overall this foundation holds up well throughout the day. So NYX's promises match the result.

My personal opinion and score
The NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Foundation is the ideal foundation for people with dry to dry-combination skin. Especially for people who have to deal with dry skin! It is not a drying foundation, which certainly surprises me, because I haven't been used to that kind of foundation before and this product gives a fresh look to your face. Beautiful and natural beam. In general, this foundation gives a natural look! The promises of this product also match the result. Application process is flawless. Very easy to apply, spread and blend!

Some of the long-term cons I've found are:
1) It will not cover acne. So if you suffer from a lot of acne, you might prefer a foundation with more coverage.
2) Not sweat resistant! You have to keep blotting and/or touching up over the long days. There is quite a bit of foundation involved while blotting the face. This is actually a con which doesn't surprise me, because this foundation is made for a dewy finish and foundations that mainly give this kind of finish are known to give off some foundation when blotting.

I will personally buy this foundation again! I find it very pleasant to use and my score for this product is a big 9/10!
