GlamGlow Flashmud Brightening Treatment Mask
14-11-2020

LET'S GLOW CHERRIES with a product from GlamGlow that I will review for you today (^_^) This product is called the "Flashmud Brightening Treatment" mask. Also known as the "orange" mask from GlamGlow. Probably because of the packaging, because the mask itself is not orange at all, but I will come back to that later in this review.

All GlamGlow masks come in three different quantities:

- 15g (travel and try-out format)
- 50g (normal size)
- 100g (maximum size)

The content I own is the normal 50g content. I first wanted to go for a try-out format, but unfortunately it was out of stock at the time of purchase. I also wanted to go for a completely different mask from GlamGlow first, but that one was completely off the shelves. So I finally went for this one. I would like to review them all, because I also want to try them all out. So keep an eye on my GlamGlow reviews :D

When you buy the normal content, you will find it in this crazy but informative box. On both the front and back of the box you can read everything you need to know about this mask, which is very nice. You don't have to search the internet for what this mask does. It's all there. When we open the box, we immediately come across the nice jar with the treatment and a leaflet. In the package insert you will find information on how to use this product. Unfortunately, with this size as the small size, there is no brush. From now on you will only get this when you buy the largest amount. Very unfortunate, but in principle you don't need a brush or spatula with this mask. The easiest thing to do with this product is to apply the mask with your fingers.

Texture and fragrance
The texture of this product is like mud. In fact, it is also a mud mask with a fresh scent! It smells of flowers and herbs. I like it (^_^)
FYI: This is not a first impression review. This product has previously been used more than 3 times. The jar is completely full when you buy it!

Normally I always go over to the promises and ingredients in a mask review, but the ingredients are too many to name. So I recommend that you study the photo of the back of the box carefully. It actually contains everything you need to know. What I'm going to do is go over the promises with you. Then I tell if the mask keeps its promises.

GlamGlow promise: "Sexy In A Flash! Flashmud Brightening Mask from Glam Glow is an illuminating treatment and a refreshing sensation for the skin. The smart, built-in pre-treatment with scrub particles ensures an even better absorption of the ingredients. Flashmud gives you an immediate sexy and radiant skin. New ingredients provide a boost against imperfections, a radiant and even radiance, optimization of the transparency in the skin and an improvement of the light reflection of the skin. You should apply Flashmud on dry skin in circular movements. This way you exfoliate the skin, allowing the ingredients to be absorbed even better by the skin. Then leave the Flashmud on for at least 20 minutes and rinse with water. For best results use three days in a row and then 2-3 times a week for lasting results. "

Okay.... Here we go!! (^_^)

Result, personal opinion and score
The result is not great, but certainly good enough. I don't feel sexy after using this mask, but I don't have to hahahaha XD What it does give me is indeed radiant skin. I just followed the rules of GlamGlow and yes you do have to use it a bit longer, but it keeps its promises. It helps against imperfections, gives a radiant and even appearance. It's a real boost for the face! However, the exfoliating particles can be slightly harsh on sensitive areas on the face.

Unfortunately, the result doesn't last for long, but it has certainly been worth every penny. This treatment is certainly not the cheapest at Douglas. You pay €51.46 for this normal content. A cheaper alternative to this product is the TonyMoly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack. A review of this is available on my blog. To do this, go to the Korean products. Uhm... The TonyMoly mask immediately gives a radiant and even appearance, but it's gone after 1 day. This mask, on the other hand, leaves it a little longer, but for more cleaning you can go for the TonyMoly mask. The TonyMoly mask is more focused on cleaning than a radiant look and with this mask it's actually the other way around. It's just what you need of course, but it's an example.

My personal score for this mask is 8.5/10!
