Kiko Milano Sebo Balance Toner

FYI: This review was actually scheduled to be released right after the summer season, but I didn't exactly have the motivation during the season. Thought I needed a break. Have fun reading!

Hi Cherries and welcome to my review of the Kiko Milano Sebo Balance Toner. This toner has been specially formulated by Kiko Milano for people who suffer from combination to oily skin. I have dry-combination skin of my own, but this toner was recommended to me by a Kiko Milano employee during the summer season because I was suffering from excess sebum on my T-zone. He also saw that I had visible pores of myself and thought that I should give this product a chance. So I did that all summer season and I would like to share my experience with you (^.^)

The Kiko Milano Sebo Balance Toner should serve as a purifying and mattifying tonic, as it aims to combat excess sebum. Kiko indicates that the composition is enriched with extract of willow, cucumber, green tea with a purifying effect and a mix of sugars with moisturizing properties. It would then minimize the sebum on the skin and have a soothing effect on the skin. This should then result in a delicate and light feeling on the face.

The texture of this product is watery. It can easily slip off the hands, so use a cotton pad to apply the product. This is also a lot more hygienic, but if you don't have cotton pads at hand, you can also do it with your hands. Only you should be a little more careful and take a little more in hand. This product absorbs quickly into the skin. So with little product in hand, you can't do the whole face.

The casing of this product actually looks very simple, as with almost all Kiko Milano products. Simple, but professional. It actually contains everything you want to know about this product.

The scent is quite unique in my opinion. I can definitely smell the green tea extracts in this, but for some crazy reason the smell reminds me of a certain dish soap? Hahaha, I can't quite explain why. I think it has to do with the perfume what's in here.

Now we actually come to what you have been waiting for and that is....What has this product actually done for me?
The product has greatly reduced the shine effect on my T-Zone after use. The result is immediately visible in that area. It fights excess sebum very well. So definitely ideal for people with combination to oily skin. It doesn't clog pores in my opinion. I haven't noticed that I have gotten more impurities during the summer season. I must admit that this product is not exactly moisturizing, as Kiko claims to be. I honestly never noticed it (the hydration) and have always had to use moisturizing products afterward to make sure my face doesn't dry out. So I thought that was a shame, but somehow it didn't surprise me either, because it gives a very mattifying result.

What is also very nice about this product is that it removes the last remnants of your makeup well. It leaves the face super clean and soft. Unfortunately, it didn't do anything for me in terms of shrinking pores.

My personal opinion and score

The Kiko Milano Sebo Balance Toner is in my opinion really a very ideal toner for people with combination and oily skin. Especially for people with oily skin, because the result in terms of combating excess sebum is in my eyes really grandiose. I really had different toners before this toner against excess sebum and believe me... They were also good, but this one is really my number 1 in all those years when it comes to this. Really great! It doesn't clog pores either!

As I mentioned before, I was disappointed that it didn't do anything in terms of shrinking pores (was also a promise from Kiko) and it's not moisturizing either. Despite these unfulfilled promises, it keeps the other promises great and the face is just super clean after use!

Finally, I also recommend this product to people who don't want to spend too much money on a toner. Kiko Milano's products vary in price, but are largely affordable and this one certainly is. You pay €7.99 for this bottle of toner, which is generally cheap for toners.

My score for this product is a 9.5/10!
