Etude House Play Color Eyes Wine Party Palette
09-06-2019
A very nice Pentecost to all Cherries! It's the beginning of June and that means .... almost summer! I secretly can't wait until it's summer, because I'm tired of the cold weather and fresh wind! It also means finally picking up more terraces, walking around, running for health, eating ice cream and partying! ^_^ Actually eating ice cream and running is not really a healthy combination, but .... It works for me, hahahaha! XD
Uhm ... Today I'm going to do a review about the Etude House Play Color Eyes Wine Party Palette! ❤⃛ ヾ (๑❛ ▿ ◠๑) For those who also read my other reviews, all know that this palette is a regular ritual in my makeup routine. I have been using eye shadows and pallets from Etude House for years. Etude House is also one of my favorite Korean cosmetics brands when it comes to makeup. Etude House is always a way to go! In addition, this review was also requested by a few nice girls in my mail box and was also asked to indicate which colors I use the most and what I like about it. So I'm going to go through all of this with you in this review!
My palette is of course messy after 1.5 years. This is mainly due to the glitter colors, but I will come back to that later! ❤⃛ ヾ (๑❛ ▿ ◠๑) I also still have the foil on my mirror. The reason why I kept the foil on my mirror is, because I don't use the mirror at all. I personally don't find it useful, because this palette is quite compact in itself. In addition, I wear long-distance glasses, so I always put my makeup in front of the mirror attached to my closet ヾ (^ ∇ ^)
Housing
On the photo above you can see what the palette looks like without all the mess you immediately see at my palette, hahahaha! We must remain very realistic! As I indicate in the adjacent text, the palette is very compact and you can literally take it with you everywhere. It has two apllicators and a mirror that has established itself well! The entire housing is of good quality. After 1.5 years (with every day use) it is still in perfect condition and the box clicks well. Neither is the top loose.
Colors
The Etude House Play Color Eyes Wine Party Palette contains 10 colors in total. I have enclosed the official photo of this which can be found on the left. On the right you see the colors from top to bottom on my arm. My first idea was to take separate pictures of the colors on both my eyelids and my crease, but I finally decided not to do it, since it closely matches the finish on my arm. You can also see the pigment very well on my arm.
This palette is a combination of matte, shimmer and glitter eye shadow. Also a combination of brown, red and purple. This is a palette with eye shadow colors that is used a lot in South Korea. I bought this palette when it was just released on the market and it has since become a bestseller. In addition, this is the most popular eyeshadow palette of the entire play color eyes collection!
Below the photos, I will go through the colors one by one with you. Long story, made short ... At the end of this review you know all the colors! d=(´ ▽`)=b
Oh yeah! By the way, a new game has been released, called "Missed Messages." from Zephyo. She is one of my favorite game makers from Newgrounds. I used to play her games to fill up the time when I was out of work or needed a break from everything. Strangely enough, I soon found out that all games had a certain statement and it seemed that I was constantly succeeding in getting the right ending in the beginning. I think this is mainly due to the fact that I understand everything. The emotions, situations etc. Her games often have the stories that people ignore about others in life which makes me sad ... Anyway ... My favorite games before this game of hers are "You left me" and " I woke up next to you again ". I keep following her, because I think her games have many meanings and the people around us can wake up. Although I do not recommend playing it if your thoughts are not aligned.
#1 Camembert & Brie> This is probably the only color of the entire palette that I have not used for a very long time, but eventually started using it for a certain look. This eye shadow should be used as a base color for any look, but you can also use it for a strong white look by taking a lot of it. I use it often lately for my natural looks. It does have the least pigmentation compared to the other colors, but that is also quite logical for a basic color.
#2 The Last Leaf > The darkest brown of the entire palette! I use this color every day to fill in my eyebrows. I hardly use eyebrow powders, because I personally think they don't last long and It does last long with eyeshadow. I personally never use this color over my eyelids. Only in the crease if I want to make it look deeper, because otherwise I think my look is too dark. It's funny now that I say this to you, because my high school look was always very dark. Back then chocolate brown was a must have for me! Strange how quickly this can change when you get older ... This color brown has a bit of glitter in it, but very neutral. That's why I can easily use this on my eyebrows d=(´ ▽`)=b
#9 Dress Code: Bling > The second glitter color of the palette that looks like pure gold! This is a glitter that will go with any evening or dark look. The eye shadow itself has a golden "undertone". So in addition to glitter it also brings a color to the skin. Very nice as a highlighter (in necessity)!
#10 Bordeaux Wine > The least used color of the palette. Do not get me wrong. It has a beautiful and strong purple color, but unfortunately I don't wear it often, because I have few outfits that suit it. It is a matte eye shadow and ideal for any evening look or vampy look. If I had more purple in clothing, then I think this color would have become a favorite of mine, because it is so beautiful! In addition, this color is also nice to combine with the colors Wine Burgundy and/or Soulmate

Personal experience, opinion and score
I have always experienced the Etude House Play Color Eyes Wine Party Palette very well. What particularly attracted me to this was the size of this palette with the red colors. It is very compact and as indicated earlier you can take it with you everywhere! Are you going to a girl's night? Ideal! Are you going out? Also ideal! Don't have time to make yourself up, but you have to do it all at work or in the train? This is the solution to all problems in the context of bringing makeup in a bag!
All colored eye shadows (except for the camembert and brie) contain a lot of pigment! In addition, I have never had a fall out. So the eye shadow stays nicely in place. No matter how long the day is! You can also combine all these colors nicely with each other, without it looking strange. They blend in easily! The only thing that I come across and I have indicated earlier is that the glitter colors are very difficult to work with. It does not matter which applicator you take, it is difficult. The best thing is still to apply it with the finger and before I forget to say it myself .... The expiration date of this palette is 2 to 2.5 years!
I give the Etude House Play Color Eyes Wine Party Palette a total score of 9/10!
