LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask 20g (Apple Lime)

Today I'm going to tell you about my experience with a very popular international product that comes from a Korean brand. It is the one and only real LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask. This lip mask was previously only for sale in 1 flavor (red fruits), but eventually the product was upgraded and then there were 4 different flavors on the market, so that everyone could choose his or her favorite. So I have put all the flavors together for the people who are curious about the other flavors than just the flavor that I have in my possession and added why you have to choose the flavor. (if you have a different taste than me in this kind of products! :D)

 

Berry:This flavor is the most popular of them all. It's sold worldwide and it's also the sweetest taste!            
          This taste is especially popular, because it's very similar to the predecessor (the original red fruits)            
          and this is also the only flavor that contains Vitamin C. Conclusion: Do you prefer to have very sweet lips during              sleeping or day-by-day use? Then this is the right flavor for you! :)

 

Grapefruits:This flavor is ideal for anyone who doesn't love sweetness or freshness too much. It has a bit of both                     and therefore just right! A nice line between sweet and fresh! :)

 

Apple Lime (My choice):This flavor is ideal for anyone who doesn't like sweetness or who doesn't like to have sweet lip
                                        masks on the lips at night. This flavor is only focused on freshness! :)

 

Vanilla:This flavor is the 2nd most popular flavor of the whole series. It's exactly how vanilla tastes! Warm, soft,           
            nice and sweet! Ideal for our vanilla lovers! :)

 

PAY ATTENTION! They all have the same goals! Stop dead skin cells, make lips soft and elastic!
                             So it's not that one flavor brings something more than the other.
                             So don't expect that the Vitamin C in the berry flavor will bring more, because it doesn't.
                             It's only for support!

At the top you see three pictures of my own jar. The jar is made of glass and the lid is made of hard plastic. I think it's a very nice jar and I like that the color of the green looks so fresh and strong. Really pretty apple green! :D
When you turn the lid open, you see that the product is shielded with a white cover. This is very hygienic and a plus! I also like that LANEIGE gives a free applicator. It's a small, but cute applicator. You can compare it with an eye applicator. Only it's not a sponge, but silicone. So you catch a little lip mask and also lubricate your lips with it. Then you go to sleep and the next day you will have the results.

Texture
The lip mask has a thick texture. You can compare it with a very thick balm for over the lips. You feel this mask very well, but it's not uncomfortable. I can understand that it can be considered irritating to some of you (including me). That is why I opted for the Apple Lime flavor, so that the freshness can fight the feeling a little bit. Of course this is personal for everyone! :)  

 

Working
The mask doesn't sink into the lips, but remains on the lips and you will notice the feeling of having a big layer on the lips. (This is a feeling what you will also notice when you wake up). The mask fights against the dead skin cells, makes the lips soft and elastic.

Result
The result is exactly what LANEIGE promises us. I had a lot of loose sheets on my lips the day before, and my lips generally looked very dry and unhealthy. The day after, these problems had disappeared like snow in the sun. I also didn't expect it to work that fast. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of my lips before and after. Otherwise there were photos in this review, but what I have written above is 100% true and I'm always very honest about what I think and experience with products. So you gotta believe me on this! :D  

 

Price and quality ratio
The price that I paid for this product was about €11,- which is actually very cheap for a product of this brand. I have used other products of LANEIGE before and normally you pay around €20,- or more for a skincare product of this brand (but all very good products btw!). So I'm glad that they have made a very popular international product so cheap! The quality is very good and exactly what you expect from the LANEIGE brand. You don't have to use much and you can also use this product for a very long time. This product can also be used as an ordinary balm during the cold winter days! I recommend this product to everyone!
