Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm SPF50+ PA+++ ORANGE
28-11-2020

Heey Cherries! Today I'm going to go through a first impression review with you of the Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm with SPF50 + PA +++. This is the orange version of the entire SKIN79 Super Plus series. I bought these together with the purple version. A review of the purple version will come as soon as possible.

It took a while until I could buy these products. Due to covid-19, it is difficult to obtain Korean products in Europe. So I'm doing my very best to review the entire series as soon as possible. However, I think it will take a while as before. Not because you can last longer with this product, but the green and golden snail versions are hardly available at the moment.

For those who are not familiar with the SKIN79 Super Plus series, I will briefly tell you about it. The Super plus BB cream series from Skin79 is one of the most popular BB cream series from South Korea. At the same time, these were also one of the very first BB creams from South Korea to be sold internationally. Very popular because of the quality and colorful packaging!

The series consists of the following BB creams (in order of release date): HOT PINK, VIP GOLD, ORANGE, PURPLE, GREEN, GOLDEN SNAIL, BRONZE (The latter is specially made for the beautiful hued Cherries! ^ _ ^)

Housing, texture and fragnance
The casing of this product matches the name. It's an orange bottle with a gold plated dosing pump. Very striking and happy orange! The first time I saw this product I immediately thought of the orange lion of the Netherlands. It suddenly entered my mind. The housing strongly reminds me of the little country and the summer / autumn (^_^) The disadvantage of this housing is that you cannot see and/or notice when the product is running out. You will only find out when no more BB cream comes out.

The orange and golden snail versions are the only versions in the entire series that contain SPF50+. The other versions have less SPF to protect the face. In addition, this is also the only version that contains a 5-V vital complex. I will come back to this later.

The texture of this product is quite runny and it smells like sunscreen. The liquid texture did surprise me at first, because the hot pink and VIP gold were considerably thicker in texture. This gave me the impression that the coverage was light. The color of the BB cream is #21 Yellow Beige. So a light beige color with a yellow undertone. Incidentally, this BB cream comes in one color. So it's a hit or a miss.

I've mentioned this before in my BB cream reviews, but I keep repeating it for the new Cherries among us who are not familiar with Asian BB creams. Asian foundations and BB creams come in one color most of the time. With luck they are available in a maximum of four colors. In Asia most people all have a light skin tone and there it's very important to look as natural as possible. While here in Europe it's important to have something of a complexion. Especially on the face. This is therefore not the case in Asia. Hence, a wide choice in foundation or BB cream colors is unnecessary in Asia. It's also true that there is a big difference between Asian and European makeup styles. No worries! For my beautiful, tinted Cherries, SKIN79 has happily released a BRONZE version with the color #27 Dark beige. This is the only version that I'm not going to review as I have no tint of my own and I would have to use a very strong self tanner to get against that color.

Promises Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm SPF50+ PA+++ ORANGE
The Skin79 Super + Beblesh Balm Orange with SPF50+ PA+++ protects the skin against the strong UV rays of the sun. This BB cream has been specially developed for discolorations and dark spots. With the help of a special vital complex, this product prepares the skin for a healthy cocktail.
The special 5-V vital-V complex contains the following vitamins:
1. Vitamin A - to improve elasticity in the skin. Works against wrinkles.
2. Vitamin C - to brighten the skin
3. Vitamin E - to provide the skin with hydration and nourishment
4. Vitamin F - for extra hydration.
This product is suitable for all skin types.

Let's see what this product really does. In the first series of photos I'm not wearing any makeup. Sorry for the vintage photo, but I forgot to take a before photo of my face on the front. So I decided to go crazy in a review for a change ^^"

I have combination skin. Currently suffering from a bit of impurity and a few small wounds. Natural redness and my natural visible pores. In the second series of photos, I have applied the product on my face. This is one layer of BB cream.

The BB cream spreads well and quickly. You don't need much to cover the face completely. It's a fast oxidizing BB cream. Ideal for when you also have to leave the house quickly. Uhm... Coverage is low to medium. Cannot be built up, but it really balances the color in the face. Unfortunately it clings to the few wounds on my face and the dry spots around it. In addition, it clings to the pores a bit, but not as much as my previous Skin79 BB cream.

What I immediately noticed about this BB cream was the matte finish. It is a bit hydrating and gives a natural glow, but ends up mostly matt. I didn't even need extra powder to create anything. Recommended for when you want to keep this product on your face longer. I didn't do it for a first impression, because I want to see how long the product lasts without powder.

In the photos below I have applied my makeup completely. Ignore the thickness of my long simple eyeliner look on the left side. I had to hurry that morning and normally I take time for my eyeliner >.<

>>> 10 hours later <<<

After about 9 hours the BB cream (without powder) starts to melt slowly. You will notice the first signs on the cheeks and chin. It worn off a bit throughout the day, but overall it has held up well. It stops the greasy T-zone and the coverage is still there. However, it will stick to dry spots. The BB cream is no longer in my pores. So that's definitely a plus! The natural glow has lasted all day and there is still hydration, but don't expect it to be hydrating like a BB cream made for dry skin types. I really like this product.

My personal opinion and score
This BB cream keeps its promises as far as I can judge. I can only see the "whitening" and anti-wrinkle effects after long-term use. So in a month or two I will come back on this in this review. It brightens the skin, gives a natural look and glow. This BB cream is also moisturizing, but don't expect it to be super moisturizing like a BB cream or normal cream that is made for dry skin. For all skin types is expressed very strongly by SKIN79. This BB cream does the job well on combination skin, but I rather recommend it to anyone with an oily skin type. This is due to the fact that it gives a very matt finish and it blocks sebum well. However, the coverage is not exactly optimal. It's low to medium coverage, but good enough to last through the day. If you are looking for more coverage, this is not the product you are looking for, but for the healthy finish and appearance it's definitely worth trying.
My personal score at the moment (without the whitening and anti-wrinkle effects) is a 9/10!
