Before I start with this review, I want to anounce very nice news. A new skincare routine is coming soon! The summer skincare routine of 2019! So keep an eye on the "Do Not Enter" because, as you know, I never announce the dates of my reviews or other messages! To give a small preview, I have decided to review one product in advance for you. This product comes from the Korean brand "Some By Mi" and it is called "AHA/BHA /PHA 30 days miracle toner"

 

Packaging

This toner comes in a dark green bottle with all the information around it. On the front everything is in English and on the back you can find everything in Korean. Although the bottle is dark green, the product is colorless like any other (normal) toner. So you don't have to be afraid to put a green colored product on the face. The content of this bottle is 150ml. With this you can participate for a maximum of 2.5 months with normal use. The housing reminds me a lot of a product from the pharmacy which is actually not strange, because this product is also medically formulated with natural ingredients. I will come back to that later.

 

As most of you know I am very sensitive to acne in the last weeks of spring and especially in the summer season. So for me it is very important to use products that keep the skin clean. For a very long time I used a Japanese product. You can find it in both the reviews and my skincare routine of last year, but it was unfortunately out of stock. That is why I was forced to look for an alternative. This is how I ended up with this product.

Ingredients, promises and effects on the skin
The first thing most of us will notice is that this product has already mentioned some ingredients in its name. Namely the tree-different types of acids AHA, BHA and PHA. All these acids have different properties. AHA is best known for the fact that it removes dead skin cells and impurities on the skin surface. BHA removes the impurities and tallow in the pores. That is why one of the promises of this toner is "Pore care". In addition, we have "Whitening" and "Moisturizing" as promises. The latter is quite logical, because PHA helps to restore moisture in the skin. This keeps the skin hydrated. This is fine for every skin type, because most acne products cause the skin to dry out considerably and with this you literally prevent dehydration. Another very important ingredient is Niacinamide. 2% of this was added to this mixture together with 10,000 PM tea tree oil. Niacinamide provides the production of so-called ceramides and free fatty acids. These natural skin fats strengthen the barrier function. As a result, the skin loses less moisture and is more resistant to external influences. It all sounds like the ideal toner for everyone, right?ﾟ (T ヮ T) ｡

As the name reveals, you will have to see results in the 30 days that you use it. The idea is that you apply a suitable amount to a cotton pad and then wipe it over the face. Before you continue with other products, it is very important with this toner to let it absorb. Otherwise it has no effect! Another option is to apply this by hand, but I am more in favor of the cotton pad for hygiene. What I do personally is to apply this product after I have completely removed my makeup or cleaned my face. Then I use my other products for the night. This I will not tell XD

 

In the reviews of the month of May (especially with the cushion reviews) you saw how stressed and dry my skin was after I had suffered from vitamin deficiency a month ago. In addition, my summer acne phase began. So my skin was much redder and more sensitive at the time. In the HEMA cushion review of June you saw how less red my skin was naturally. This was already an effect by using this toner. So you will find proof of the 30 days in the photos.

 

To get you to paint an even better picture, I list all the effects that this toner has given me in those 30 days. PAY ATTENTION! With one person a certain effect will be visible faster than with the other. Every skin is different. So also my time periods will vary with others!

  • Less to almost no redness (approximately after 2 weeks)
  • Fewer zits (between 20-30 days)
  • A "rejuvenating" skin (after 1 week)
  • Less large pores, but still visible (I have large and visible pores of my own. You will never get rid of them 100%, but this toner helps to reduce the size. It is not wow for me, but if you like have fewer pores yourself, I think the effect is much better!)
  • Fewer blackheads (between 20-30 days)
  • A hydrating skin (after 2.5 weeks. This is mainly because my skin was quite dry and sensitive after my vitamin problem.)
  • Less sensitive skin (after 2.5 weeks. This is mainly because my skin was quite dry and sensitive after my vitamin problem.)
  • Helps against old scars (longer than 1 month of use)

 

The conclusion is that this toner has kept all promises and actually does something about these problems. What is also very special about this toner is that it contains a low PH level. So it doesn't damage the skin in between either! In addition, it has been dermatologically tested by various dermatologists and approved by the KFDA (Korean Food And Drug Administration). An approval from this company is one of the most important and best approvals you can get from Korea. So that also means a lot when it comes to this product and it is sold worldwide.

 

Personal opinion and score
I told you everything I really wanted to tell in one big story. So I actually have nothing to add. This product does an excellent job and I think this is a good alternative to my Mentholatum Acnes Medicated Powder Lotion.
