Kiko Milano Hydra Pro Glow

Before I really get into the content of this product, I first want to discuss the clear differences between both this version and the matte with you. For the cherries among us who have tried both before, may skip this part, but for the new among us this is useful to read. Both the Hydra Pro Glow and Matte come in the same type of packaging. One says Glow and the other Matte. Looks very similar at first sight, but the texture, color and properties are completely different! Just take a look at the column below.

From my own personal experience with both products I must admit that I don't understand the logic in the "for all skin types" with the glow. This cream gives a natural, yet striking glow to the face. People with combination skin that is slightly more oily or oily skin already have this glow of their own. I personally cannot imagine why anyone would want a cream that makes the glow stand out even more. You prefer to make the glow less. So for these people I rather recommend the matte version. If, like me, you have a combination skin that is rather on the dry side, then the glow version is perfect. It's more hydrating than the matte version.

Texture, fragrance and color

I mentioned the texture and color in the column above, but for the people who skipped it.... The texture of this product is a texture of a light cream. You can actually do the whole face with 1 pump. When I wear a solid foundation, I rather take a 1.5 pump, because foundations can be drying on their own and I prefer to protect my face from this. Also that it stays hydrated, despite having a makeup layer on top. The color is described by Kiko as light pink, but I don't think it's pink. In my eyes the color is actually light skin-colored. The scent is an interesting combination of musk and rose. Smells great and is not strong.

Below I have pumped the product onto the top of my hand so you can see how the cream turns into a shiny picture. This cream contains micro particles of glitter. Can only be seen when the light is shining right, but it's not that if you only decide to wear the cream, your face is full of glitter. That's not the case!

Promise and the result

The result is indeed a beautiful light effect with hydration. Very healthy look with a glow. It doesn't feel like you have anything on your skin. Very fresh and comfortable. Protects the skin with a layer of low SPF, but it's nice to know that there is at least something of an SPF factor.

In total, this cream lasts for 8 hours without makeup. With makeup it lasts a little longer, but no more than 10 hours. This is my personal experience with the product. Ideal for every day and season, but after the maximum in terms of hours you are also really happy when you have it off the face. It melts in a way that doesn't feel good.
