Hey Cherries and welcome to my review of the MAC Cosmetics Studio Face And Body Radiant Sheer Foundation. Also known as the MAC Cosmetics Radiant Face And Body Foundation! (^.^)
A few months ago there was a big sale on the entire MAC Cosmetics range and at the time I was also looking for a foundation for normal use. Previously, many "full coverage" foundations were reviewed on request. Now I actually wanted a kind of "no makeup - makeup foundation" for every day. My eyes were focused on this product and in my review I'm going to tell you exactly what I think of the foundation.

For your information:
Many people assume that MAC Cosmetics cosmetics are not cruelty-free. Remember that MAC Cosmetics does not conduct animal testing. They have no facilities where animal testing is performed and never ask others to do this on their behalf. There are governments that conduct animal testing to prove the safety of MAC Cosmetics products before granting approval for sale, but M·A·C does not conduct these itself. They even work with an agency to combat animal testing in the world. If you do not feel comfortable with this, I would kindly ask you not to read my review about this product.

Casing, texture and fragrance
The casing of the Studio Face And Body Radiant Sheer Foundation reminds me of the casings of foundations from 10 years ago. A lot of it came out in hard plastic squeeze bottles at the time and almost every girl in high school had it. You could always easily hold it in your hand or take it with you in your bag. Literally never broke. It's no secret that the case gives me nostalgia!

Before using this product, it is very important to shake the bottle well, so that everything is well mixed. The texture of this foundation is thin and watery. For that reason, I would not recommend applying the product directly to the top of your hand. I personally like to use a "Mixing Palette". My "Mixing Palette" is a cheap palette from Boozyshop, but you can also find other mixing palettes in a store or online (^.^)

The scent of the foundation is actually a typical make-up/foundation scent. I have nothing to add to this.

The foundation comes in many different colors and tones to choose from. I currently have the shade W0 Extra Light Warm, because I'm obviously pale myself and the color matches my skin tone exactly. This is also my natural color. In the summer I'm always a bit tanned by the sun or an extra support from my self-tanner of choice. I don't tan easily myself and in the summer I personally find it more beautiful to have a slightly tan complexion on my body. So this summer I will most likely go for a different color. For now let's go with the milk bottle color (as how we say it in the Netherlands) ! Let's see together what and how the foundation does (^.^)

MAC Cosmetics states the following about this product:
"MAC's regular artist and fan-favorite Studio Radiance Face & Body foundation has long been loved on red carpets and catwalks around the world. It promises to reveal - and never hide - your true self with a transparent, radiant, 'my- skin-but-better" finish. This formula provides sheer, buildable coverage with a natural, radiant glow. It provides refreshing, instant hydration in an ultra-light, waterproof formula that wears comfortably all day. Does not cause acne. apply to skin with fingers, sponge or foundation brush, then blend with fingers, sponge or brush".

The updated Studio Radiance Face & Body with radiant, transparent foundation offers:
• A sheer, radiant coverage

• Immediate hydration

• Ultra-light, water-resistant formula

• Comfort all day long and can be worn for up to 8 hours

• No acne is caused

In the first pictures on the left you can see me completely without makeup. Obviously some impurities (long live the monthly period XD) and a little bit of natural redness. In the pictures on the right, I applied one layer of foundation all over my face and finished my makeup. Normally I show how the foundation looks before I finish my makeup, but with this product it honestly doesn't add anything to it at all. The coverage of this product is absolutely sheer. So your blemishes, part of facial redness and dark circles under the eyes aren't covered. You can build the coverage up a bit, but don't expect too much. It is and remains a foundation with the aim of giving the most natural coverage.

I absolutely agree with the instant hydration and sheer, radiant coverage claims. The product clearly gives a dewy finish, which I find very beautiful and healthy. It's waterproof! The foundation doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all. It feels just like your own skin. The foundation is well formulated, so a setting powder is not necessary. It actually stays on the skin for up to 8 hours.

The only promise from MAC Cosmetics that I can't say is true or false is the acne-causing claim. My skin is naturally sensitive to impurities in a certain season and period. So I can't comment on this. My apologies (>.<)

My personal opinion and score
The MAC Cosmetics Studio Face And Body Radiant Sheer Foundation is the ideal "no makeup - makeup" foundation for an everyday look. Pricey, but worth every penny in my eyes. Again, I bought this in a sale for €20,- instead of €36,- which is the actual price, but had I bought this product for the actual price, I would certainly have said the same thing! With a content of 50ml you can last a long time. This product is also very ideal for anyone who doesn't need a lot of coverage and just wants to make the face appear more refreshing.

I don't recommend this product for people with combination to oily skin, because the product is moisturizing with a strong dewy finish and you definitely don't want this if you already have oily skin.

I wouldn't describe this product as a foundation myself. I would rather call it "skin tint", because it is just like your own skin, but indeed better, as MAC Cosmetics describes. It actually shows some of your natural beauty which is also the purpose of this product.

I'm very satisfied with this product myself. From the moment of purchase, I have started using this product every day as my regular foundation. I get a lot of compliments from everyone. So that's great! (^.^) Of course I have a different foundation for when I go out in the evening, but the foundation from MAC is definitely a foundation that I'm going to buy again. Perhaps this will stay longer in my makeup bag. Who knows! (^.^) My personal score for this product is a 9/10!
