This song describes my relationship with Lays Oven Baked Chips perfectly....XD

Heey Cherries and welcome to a new review on my blog (^_^)

Recently there was an action at the Kruidvat where you got to buy 1 Max Factor product to get the other one for free. So I took my chance to get these two different foundations. I've always wanted to try this one! Both are the same color, but have different properties. I don't always have the time to apply self-tanner. So I was looking for a foundation for in between, because my other Max Factor foundation is running out.

The foundations I got are the Max Factor Radiant Lift Long Lasting Radiance All Day Hydration SPF30 Foundation and the Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation with SPF20. In this review, I'm going to review the Max Factor Radiant Lift Long Lasting Radiance All Day Hydration SPF30 Foundation. This is the bottle with the golden cap. A review about the facefinity foundation will come as soon as possible.

FYI: I'm currently hardly smiling at all in the photos. Yesterday I had to go to the dental surgeon to get my last wisdom teeth (one side is clearly still slightly swollen. Is in the process of healing.). Which results in an attachment underneath. I honestly don't understand why people always make a drama about this. Just common sense at 0, nice syringes in the jaw. Just let it push and pull (or drill and cut) that handle. I'm always very neutral about these things. So I make fun of it rather than trouble. Now I can finally joke with old people that I no longer have wisdom XD

The Max Factor Radiant Lift Long Lasting Radiance All Day Hydration SPF30 Foundation comes in a glass bottle with a golden cap made of high quality plastic. It's a well-known bottle that contains most foundations from different brands. It's a typical foundation packaging. A very simple concept. Ingredients are in black letters on the back. However, the ingredients are listed in very small letters. I personally have no problem with reading it, but I believe it may be problematic for some of us. Especially if you have to pay attention to ingredients in products.

When we take the cap off, we see something I always really appreciate and that's a pump!!! This gives you a better chance of getting the right amount. Had a lot of foundations in the past where you have to squeeze or apply with an applicator before you spread it out and believe me ... 9 out of 10x you take too much, because you cannot measure it properly. Max Factor saves us all that trouble and disappointment. Most of the Max Factor foundations have a pump.

Another thing that makes you notice is that this product contains micro particles of glitter. On the eye can only be seen when the light shines well.

Texture and scent
The texture of this foundation is thick. Max Factor doesn't give away much information about this product on its official website. Since this texture is thick, I suspect this is going to be medium to full coverage. It spreads easily, but I will also use a beauty blender. The color is clearly lighter on my arm, but you should never assume that. It always looks different on the face with the neck. This foundation also comes in many colors. Max Factor markets a total of 18 different colors with this foundation. I have the fifth color called "Warm Almond". Printed as number 45. The fragrance of this product is neutral. A powdery fragrance. Actually a fragrance that you expect from a normal foundation.

Promises Max Factor:

  • Long-lasting foundation
  • Radiation stimulating formula
  • Moisturizing ingredients

On the first two pictures in the beginning and the three pictures below, I don't wear make-up. My self tanner is fading a bit on my face which is perfect for testing this foundation. Suffering from redness and large pores as usual. Small swelling from my surgery on the left side (I really have a resting bitch face in that photo ... Sorry XD)

As a base I used the SANA Soy Milk Moisture Milky Lotion and the SANA Soy Milk Wrinkle Care Eye Cream (both of which have reviews available on my blog. Please go to Japanese products). I applied the foundation with a beauty blender. I immediately noticed that the foundation started to cover during blending. So in no time my face was already covered with foundation. Super nice!

The foundation provides medium coverage. Beautiful for both day and evening. However, this foundation does settle into the pores with the application. In addition, it also attach to certain dry spots. I had not used any powder on this product because I first wanted to see what "all day hydration" did. I have also done nothing special about make-up. I filled in my eyebrows with the NYX Professional Makeup Eyebrow Cake Powder in number 05 "Brunette" and I gave the lips a shine with the Rituals LA VIE EN ROSE Smooth Color Gloss in Pale Pink.

Due to my surgical (medical) intervention I occasionally suffer from oppressive pain. Fortunately, my pain threshold isn't low and I can keep it going for a long time, but it can be quite difficult with makeup removal. So that's why I kept it down for today and didn't go wild with bronzer and all that stuff.

To keep the waves in my hair longer, I used the La Biosthetique Paris Anti Frizz Serum (smells so good!) And to give an even better scent to my hair I used the Rituals The Ritual or Sakura Flourishing Hair & Body Mist. For the Ritual lovers among us, with every ritual for women there is such a Hair & Body mist. I personally am a big fan of this, the ayurveda and hammam, but I also like to wear the other ones. I don't use it every day because this product is quite pricey if you use it every day. So I use this product especially when I feel like it or at a party (^_^)

*10 hours later*

Bun on the head!!! The foundation has lasted quite a long time. Clearly there is a beautiful beam on the face. Because the glitter in this product is really fine with micro particles, it's not visible in the glow. The beautiful appearance really comes across naturally. There is also clearly hydration. No more dry spots to be recognized, but the foundation still sticks a bit in the pores. This is unfortunate.

Personal opinion and score

This foundation is really super good in keeping promises. It's long-lasting, moisturizing and it leaves a nice natural glow on the face. Available in many colors. So there is definitely a color available for everyone! Only drawback is that this product settles into the pores. This is especially visible after application. It fades a bit during the day, but some of it gets stuck in it anyway. This is unfortunate for people like me who suffer from large pores, but I think it can be fixed with powder. Since I have not done it now for the moisturizing effect. Actually, a powder is not necessary for this foundation, but it's just what you prefer. If you like the matte finish more than I recommend it. This foundation is semi matt. My personal score for this product is a 9/10!
