Arganicare Nourishing Night Cream
26-04-2021

Hi Cherries and welcome to my review on the Arganicare Nourishing Night Cream for all skin types.

According to Arganicare, the Nourishing Night Cream is enriched with vitamin C. It repairs and replenishes the skin while we sleep. The night cream contains an oil-soluble form of vitamin C that penetrates the cell membrane, thus maintaining the natural balance of the skin. The unique formulation with active peptides and an antioxidant complex, which firms the skin and fights against signs of fatigue, leaving the skin looking well-rested and radiant.

Earlier I have written reviews about two other creams from Arganicare and this one belongs to the same line. I have been using this cream just like the others for about 3 months now and I have seen the maximum effect on me. So I would like to tell you more about this (^.^)

I'm going to be talking about the packaging, texture and smell of this product in particular. I am also going to talk about the effect it has given me and both the pros and cons of this product. Eventually we arrive at my personal opinion and score, where I indicate for whom I recommend this product or not.

Packaging, texture and smell

Arganicare's "Vitamin C" cream line all have the same casing. They are orange-colored glass jars with a golden mirror cap. The mirror cap is also very handy for when you don't have a mirror at hand and want to apply the cream quickly! I like mirror caps on cream jars, because it saves you a lot when you're in a hurry.

The jar clearly states what kind of cream is in it, content, what it promises to do and what skin type it is for. Fortunately, according to Arganicare, this cream can be used for any skin type, but I do not entirely agree with that. I will get back to you about that. . .

The texture of this cream is thick. This is somewhere to be expected and makes sense as this is a nourishing cream for the night. It is precisely the intention that the thick cream penetrates the skin. This cream is quickly absorbed into the skin which is an advantage, but it does leave a small greasy layer behind. You can feel this product on the skin. Somewhere nice again, because then you know that your skin is well hydrated. Of course this feeling is different for everyone. If you don't like feeling a product on your face, I recommend avoiding it.

On the 3rd photo you can see that the white color of the cream is not clearly visible. This is due to the fact that this cream is made on an oil basis. Now you will probably think: "Oh, no! This is going to clog my pores ...". You can immediately put the thought out of your mind, because luckily the cream does not! I have visible pores of my own. A little bit bigger than normal and in those almost 3 months I haven't experienced this at all. While I normally have this with oil-based products (my skin is a dry / combination skin type)

The smell of this cream is a bit strange. It has an orange scent, but it is not a strong scent. It cannot be compared with the other creams from the same line. I think the fragrance is not strong due to the oil base.

Result

The result it has given me is frankly not great. The effect of this nourishing cream is actually quite normal. It is a normal nourishing cream. The natural balance of the face is maintained, but I don't notice the radiant effect that it promises. Nor that my skin would look less tiring. What I do notice is that the product does moisturize the skin well and clarify it a bit, but it really stops at that. Regrettably.

Personal opinion and score

The Arganicare Nourishing Night Cream seems to me to be a good support for the Moisturizing Cream from the same line that you apply the next morning, because the effect isn't great. Personally, I'm more satisfied with the other creams I have from the same line.

According to Arganicare, the cream should be made for all skin types, but this seems pretty strong to me as it is moisturizing enough for combination skin, but it won't be moisturizing enough for dry skin. The day after, the skin is back to normal. Since the cream is made with an oil base, this really doesn't seem ideal for oily skin.

My score for this product is 7.5/10!
