Hello Cherries and welcome to a completely new BB cream review! ^_^ The last BB cream review I did (not including cushions) was somewhere in early May. So about three months ago and I thought it was time for a normal foundation or BB/ CC cream review.

The review that I'm going to share with you today is about a very popular Korean BB cream. It was one of the first Korean BB creams on the market and it has grown into a number 1 product internationally. With this BB cream it all started with the international popularity of the Korean brand Skin79. A whole series of BB creams was made. We have the HOT PINK (original), VIP Gold, ORANGE, PURPLE, GREEN, GOLDEN SNAIL and BRONZE. I will not review the latter, because it's specially made for women with tanned skin. Such as number # 27 Dark Beige.

I have to admit that my very first BB cream from SKIN79 was the VIP Gold, but I used it 3 years ago when the new 2016 version came out and I honestly can't remember what I thought about it. So I bought this again. I will review the VIP Gold in a week or two, but first I wanted to start with the very first BB cream of the entire series which is HOT PINK! ^_^

Packaging
The casing of this BB cream matches the name which is HOT PINK. A pink, round bottle with a golden pump. The plastic gives an appearance, making the pink look very attractive and this product also comes in a bright pink packaging with the same appearance. Easy to recognize when you see this on the shelf or when you order multiple BB creams online and this comes in. Super nice to have between all your makeup! The disadvantage of this casing is that you don't know when the product runs out. You cannot see or feel this. That's at least one thing I can remember when I still had the VIP Gold those years ago. The advantage is that the content of this product is slightly more than usual. This round bottle contains 40 grams of BB cream. So you can go a long time with that. Of course it also depends on how much you need, for example, one person needs more than the other.

Texture, color and odor
The BB cream comes in the color #21 Pink Beige which is a natural beige colored BB cream with a pink tone. Now I have light skin of my own and very often I have to go for the number #21 in Korean cushions, BB creams etc. So this will go perfectly with my skin. Yes, that's right my sweet Cherries ... This BB cream only comes in one color. So it's a hit or a miss. Now you are definitely wondering why it doesn't come in multiple colors. Well ... In Asia, almost all BB creams are available in 1 or 2 colors. If you are lucky there are 3 or 4 colors. Almost everyone has the same light skin. So a large choice that we know here in Europe is unnecessary there. That's why Skin79 has made the BRONZE BB cream for tanned/tinted women who want to try it out. It has the same ingredients as this BB cream, but comes in a different color and the packaging is maroon.

The scent is very similar to a sunscreen scent which is not surprising at all, because this product contains sunscreen with a factor of 30. The texture is thick, but you can spread it well. The color doesn't seem to match on my hand, but you should never start from the color on my hand, because it always looks different on the face. It is exactly my color and you can see that in the pictures below! ^ _ ^

BB cream not yet applied
(PS Please don't pay attention to my hair. It was already a bit dirty and I started sweating a lot anyway during the day. So perfect for testing the BB cream)
Imperfections
- Light redness (which is natural)

- Little zits due to summer acne
- Large pores naturally

BB cream applied
Result (in short)
- Low coverage that can be build up to medium

- Redness can be largely covered (2 layers of BB cream)

- Clear skin! The skin looks super healthy

- Adheres a bit to the pores, but doesn't sit deep in it, so that it becomes clogged.

- Oxidizes quickly in a nice finish.

- Fight an odd skin tone and ensure that you have a nice refreshing picture.

* 9 hours later *
Weather: 24 degrees Celsius with a lot of wind and rain (17-08-2019)
In total I had this BB cream on my face for 9 hours. In my opinion, it has persisted very well. The redness on my forehead and on my cheeks were still very well covered, but it was visible on my nose. Only there did I notice that the BB cream was gone. You can see this in the third photo.
In terms of BB cream, it does hydrate the skin and it feels pleasant on the face. It didn't feel like I had a layer on my face at all and it doesn't adhere to the dry spots on the skin. As previously indicated, this BB cream oxidizes quickly. So it quickly adapts to the skin tone. I'm pretty impressed! ^_^

Promises VS the truth
Promise

"The Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm SPF30 PA ++ Hot Pink is one of the most popular Asian BB Creams on the market. This BB Cream has a fast-absorbing formula and fresh texture and a 3-in-1 action that brightens, softens and smoothes the skin. This BB cream is enriched with vitamin rich Damask Rose Flower Water and acerola extract, which together address the gray and uneven complexion, absorb excess greasiness and protect the skin against the harmful UV rays of the sun. The revolutionary Vita Brightening Complex, which ensures clear, rejuvenated and refined skin."

Truth
The Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm indeed has a fast-absorbing formula and it oxidizes quickly, making it better for your skin tone. I don't agree with the fresh texture. The texture is thick, but it does spread fine. I just can't figure out what's so refreshing about this texture, but it must be me XD It brightens and indeed protects the skin and my face feels soft with this product! This also addresses the gray and uneven complexion (odd skin tone). It gives your face a really refreshing picture. Uhm ... To be honest, absorbing the excess sebum... I haven't noticed anything at all. It could be my skin or I would have to try it again in the fall where I have more problems with excess sebum, but it does indeed protect the skin against the sun with the SPF 30! So there are a few promises that can't be made, but this BB cream will keep the rest! ^_^

Personal opinion and score
I will personally recommend the Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm SPF30 PA ++ Hot Pink for dry to combination skin, as it claims to combat excess sebum and it is quite moisturizing. My skin wasn't dry at all. I also personally recommend this to women who only want to start with Asian BB creams. This oxidizes quickly compared to most Asian BB creams. So if you are looking for a fast-oxidizing BB cream, then this is definitely suitable for you! Uhm ... I have pretty little to say about this HOT PINK version because I have already written everything above this heading. It has a low coverage that you can build up and for me it's good enough, but if you have a very complicated skin of your own or a skin that requires more work, it's not suitable.
Oh yeah! If you have doubts about starting this, there are also small bright pink tubes of this BB cream. These are specially made for travel, but you can also use it as a sample to see if it suits you. PAY ATTENTION! This BB cream has a pink undertone!!!! Score 8/10!
