Heey Cherries! A new month also means a new review! Three weeks ago I did a review about the HOT PINK version of the famous Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm series and today I do a review about the VIP GOLD version! ^_^
In the HOT PINK version review I indicated that this product was my very first Skin79 BB cream ever. After that, I never actually tried another BB cream from Skin79. I used this product for the first time 3 years ago when the '2016 upgrade' came out, but I honestly can't remember what I thought of this product in general. So I decided to buy it again. In addition, I received a lot of questions to review the complete series of the Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm. The only one I will not review is the BRONZE version, because I don't have tinted skin and I don't want to use self-tanner to purely review a product. So I hope you don't mind this! ^_^
I also want to inform you that it may take a while until I will review all the other versions, because it will take a while until I finish both this version and the HOT PINK! XD
Packaging
The casing of this BB cream doesn't really match the name. The letters, the box where the product comes in and the pump are gold, but the casing is generally not. It's clearly silver, but the small tubes for traveling are gold. I don't know why they decided to make everything gold except the real case. Maybe silver gave the shining effect more than gold. Anyway, this product isn't called VIP GOLD for nothing, because this is clearly much more extensive in effect and ingredients than the other BB creams from the same series. The silver got something which I have to admit. Damn ... VIP XD The only drawback to this case is that you cannot feel or see when the product runs out.
Texture, color and odor
The texture of this BB cream is thick, but strangely enough it's spreadable. I find it personally thicker than the HOT PINK version. Not wrong, because this gives me the feeling that it can cover more of the impurities and redness. It smells like sunscreen which doesn't surprise me, because it has SPF30. This BB cream comes as all BB creams from this entire series in 1 shade. In the case of the VIP Gold it's the shade #21 Natural Beige. So it has no pink or yellow undertones, but a neutral undertone. Coincidentally, #21 in Korean foundations/BB creams etc. is exactly the color of my skin. So if your skin is as pale as mine then you have a hit with this BB cream. I keep saying that most Korean BB creams etc. only come in 1 or 2 shades. If you are lucky there are 3 or 4, but in Asia most people have about the same skin color. Therefore a large choice as we know here in Europe isn't necessary. Understandable, but I'm happy that Skin79 made the BRONZE version for beautiful tinted women (the BRONZE version has the same ingredients as the HOT PINK version, but in a different color. So if you want to know more about how the BRONZE version works than I highy recommend going to my HOT PINK version review) ^_^
Before and after
I haven't yet applied the BB cream in the photos below. I just got out of the shower. So my hair was still wet and my natural redness wasn't 100% improved. My skin was also a bit drier which is good, because this BB cream claims to be made for women with a somewhat dry skin type. So I'm curious!
In the row of photos below I have completely applied this product to my face and I have applied my other make-up. The only thing I have done is my eyebrows, eyelashes and lips. So for the rest I didn't apply anything. Uhm.... The result gave me a bit of a "meh" feeling to start with. It clearly adheres to the pores, but it doesn't make it clog the pores. It also attaches itself a bit to a few dry spots, which surprises me, because this BB cream is actually claiming to prevent this. What I really appreciate about the result after application is the coverage. It has a medium coverage and with one layer of BB cream it largely covered my natural redness. Unfortunately you cannot build this up to high that it completely covers, but it also gives the skin a nice shine and a natural appearance. This is something I really like at the finish so far! =D

Promise VS the Truth
Promise
The Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Cream is a BB cream with a 3-in-1 function and a pleasant, soft texture and very nourishing formula including gold and caviar. This BB Cream, especially intended for dull, dry and damaged skin, not only provides a subtle coverage, but also has an anti-wrinkle and whitening effect and is provided with Adenosine and Coenzyme Q10 that increase the elasticity of the skin. improve. Finally, SPF30 protects the skin against harmful UV radiation and helps BB Cream to keep the skin clean and prevent future impurities. After using the Super + Beblesh Balm Cream, the skin looks nicely smooth, radiant and hydrated!
Truth
This BB cream quickly oxidizes which is important for a BB cream! In terms of results it has become slightly better. The texture is thick as mentioned before, but I agree that it's soft. Gold and caviar are indeed nourishing ingredients, but the effect can only be seen after a while. So I don't have any facts about that at the moment. The anti-wrinkle and elasticity promises are also something I can see in the longer term. So I will come back to this little piece in a month or two. So keep an eye on this review! It claims to be intended for dull, dry and damaged skin. I agree when it comes to dull and damaged skin, but not to dry skin. This cream is not very moisturizing, but it does indeed protect the skin against the sun and makes it appear smooth, radiant and hydrated. The latter is mainly due to the shine, but the cream is not very moisturizing as mentioned before. So a cream or moisturizing primer is recommended!
UPDATE Truth 02-10-2019 (1 month later): This BB cream certainly fulfills all its promises regarding nourishing the skin. The elasticity of my skin is much better compared to last month and the fine lines are also less visible. It is less deep. So I'm very impressed with the caviar in this product. In addition to caviar, the product also contains real gold! The gold was added because men believed it makes the skin shiny and it would also make the skin lighter in the longer term. Hence the "whitening" effect. Don't be scared! It's not that it makes the skin completely light. It's more that it makes the skin freshen up by letting the true skin color come out without dark spots. For the rest, the facts are still the same. So yes ... it really works! ^_^
Result at the end of the day
Radiant ... Like damn! But beautifully radiant. It doesn't bother me at all. My skin still looks naturally beautiful and hydrated. It persisted very well, because not much of the BB cream went off. It hasn't really been able to save the dry spots that I currently have, because it still likes to attach to it. A bit of a shame, but I'm not surprised, because this cream isn't so moisturizing. In terms of pores, it has improved. I no longer see BB cream in my naturally large pores. So that's a plus. In general I think the result is okay. I have to see the other promises in the longer term. So my overall score will mainly be based on what it is today. So it may change in the future if the other promises are not true etc.
Personal opinion and score
I would personally recommend the Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm VIP GOLD for normal to combination skin that is slightly on the dry side raher than dry skin in general, because it's not as moisturizing than it should have been for dry skin type . If you want to try this out as a dry skin type of person then I recommend using a cream or moisturizing primer before using this. I also don't recommend this for young faces (teenage faces), because it contains ingredients that are not made for the skin at those ages. This cream is really made for women around the age of 20 and older. So my age. In general, what I have seen so far, I think this product is ok. What I was most satisfied with was the coverage and the fact that it made the skin look radiant, healthy and natural. I have no opinion yet about the rest. I can only really tell this after a longer period. This BB cream is very often compared with the HOT PINK version, but personally I don't think you can compare both, because they mainly have different properties. So I give my score purely based on how this product is currently doing with me and how it works. My total score on 09-09-2019 is a 7.5/10!
UPDATE PERSONAL OPINION AND SCORE 02-10-2019 (about 1 month later): As you can read in the updated section under the heading "Promises VS the Truth", this product surprised me enormously in the longer term. It keeps all its promises when it comes to nourishing the skin. The caviar also ensures that the fine lines have become less visible and, in addition, they are less deep. The gold in this product indeed provides the "whitening" effect. It makes the skin lighter and fights against both hyper pigmentation and dark spots. In short, this product has really proven its quality and I am very impressed with these workings. For the rest, my personal opinion about this product remains the same. My personal score for this product has become higher and I give it a final score of an 8.5/10!
