HANAKA Hyaluronic Acid Sleeping Pack EX 300g

Lately I have received many questions from friends in my neighborhood about what is left of my HANAKA hyaluronic acid sleeping mask. This has encouraged me to write a review about this product (:
At the top you see a collage with two different photos. In the left photo you see the product on day 1. In the right photo you see the product after 1.5 year. As you can see, the jar is still not empty. You can indeed go with it for a long time and the expiration date is also quite long!


Fun to know! (:

HANAKA is a popular cosmetics brand from Taiwan and it is a personal favorite of mine. However, this brand is not yet popular international, but it's slowly becoming more popular. It's also the first brand from Taiwan where I bought something from. Personally, I find that Taiwanese clay masks and gel masks are the best that I have ever tried. This mask is certainly no exception!

I couldn't get the second and third picture in their full format. The file is too big.

This sleeping mask is a product from the "Hydration +" line of HANAKA and it is also recommended to combine this mask with other products. This mask is a bit different from other sleeping masks, because you can easily use this throughout the day. Instead of applying this only for the whole night, you can also apply this product on the face for 20 minutes. Thereafter wash the product off with lukewarm water. You could use a moisturizing lotion to make the result better. The Camelia lotion from HANAKA is recommended!

In the picture below you can see how the product looks from the inside. It's a transparent gel with small yellow and pink balls that are all scattered. The yellow balls contain Vitamin C for radiant skin. The pink balls contain botanical extracts.

Main Ingredients
The sleeping mask of HANAKA contains three different hyaluronic acid for optimal hydration and vitamin C to make your skin shine! The three different hyaluronic acid are derived from the camellia flower, cactus and aloe vera. There is also jojoba oil in this sleeping mask.


Working
This mask has no other purpose than to give optimal hydration. The shine is something extra.
The balls will break when applying this product on the face.


Result
The result of this product is absolutely amazing! I can remember that after 1 week of use I saw a big difference. Before I used this product I had very dry skin. This mask has helped me to prevent my dry skin and my skin has not been as dry as it was then. As for "the radiant" effect ... Unfortunately I did not see much difference in the beginning. I saw the difference after a few months. The reason why I think lies in the amount of vitamin C that you bring along (yellow balls). In general, this mask really gives an optimal result!

Pros:

  • This mask is one of the few international masks that contains three different hyaluronic acid.
  • Has Vitamin C to radiate the skin.
  • Feels like you put water on the face, so you do not feel that you have a layer on the face at night.
  • Can be used at night as a sleeping mask or in the afternoon for a "short" mask.
  • You can go with this mask for a very long time. After 1 year it is still not empty!
  • Cheap compared to other moisturizing sleep masks.

Cons
The jar in which the sleeping mask is located is made of thin plastic. So, I lost some of the product in the beginning. This due the fact that the jar was a bit opened when it came in. You will not get a spatula or spoon with this product. So, you bring the whole product with your fingers on the face which is not hygienic. It was much better if this product came in a tube. Then it would have been perfect. I therefore recommend using this mask with a spatula or brush!

This mask is perfect for anyone with sensitive, dry or combi-dry skin that wants an extra hydration boost or optimal hydration.
